In 2019, I was a tax associate at PwC, helping hedge funds and private equity firms calculate and file taxes.
I had just pulled an all-nighter on an engagement, only to be thrown under the bus by a senior associate. Luckily, our director came to my rescue.
I remember stepping out of the director’s office, frustrated, exhausted, and having to go to the restroom to wipe tears.
And the very next hour, I had to present to our full team, from associates to partners, on a topic I had been obsessed with in my spare time: blockchain technology.
I was terrified. I felt like an imposter.
But I gave that presentation anyway.
Instead of buzzwords, I shared real use cases.
I used an example from auto insurance on how blockchain could record the full lifecycle of an accident claim, making future decisions faster, smarter, and fairer.
Then I brought it back to what we did in our Tax FS team.
I said:
“Soon, hedge funds and PE firms will hold crypto. We’ll need to pull price data from platforms like CoinMarketCap to classify and calculate taxable gains.”
The partner looked at me and said:
“Can you save this in our team folder? We’ll need this someday.”
That was the first time I knew I wasn’t just interested in blockchain.
I believed in its real-world utility.
Fast forward to today:
I’m the founder of CrossKudi, a stablecoin-powered global payment network.
We’re using blockchain not for hype, but to solve real-world problems:
Instant cross-border payments
Lower costs for businesses
CrossKudi is my long-term vision in motion, from PwC boardrooms to building infrastructure that can move billions across borders in seconds.
This isn’t just tech. This is transformation.
The vision was always there.
The courage? That had to be earned.
To anyone doubting themselves: keep building, keep speaking up, especially when it’s hard.
Let’s redefine global payments and drive the global economy onchain at scale!
